07.02.12 optivo sets new standards for success monitoring in email marketing: Customised evaluative reports in unsurpassed depth and detail

Berlin, 7 February 2012 – optivo heralds a new era for evaluating success in email marketing: As of immediately, the new “Advanced Reports” module of the optivo® broadmail email marketing software enables the creation of target group specific sales and ROI  reports as well as analyses in never before seen detail. By using the available raw data, multilayered information from newsletters and campaigns can be assimilated and analysed easily and effectively. More than 30 parameters are at the disposal of marketing decision-makers and email marketing managers. Besides the analysis of individual parameters, complex success monitoring for diverse groupings as well as combined evaluations and complex nested structures are possible, such as according to click-profiles, multiple clients or specific fields of data in email distribution lists. More than 500 combinations of various data and groupings are supported. The evaluative reports provide marketers with an unsurpassed level of depth and detail – not least due to the capability to combine the results with post-click tracking data. 


A further highlight comprises the seamless exchange of all reports between optivo® broadmail and Microsoft® Excel on the basis of CSV data. This gives marketers the capacity to let the email marketing software "fill" individual report templates and display the results in Excel using tailor-made pivot tables and diagrams. The desired reports can be simply and quickly "clicked together" in optivo® broadmail. In addition, the results of predefined reports can be automatically generated and sent via email to specified recipient lists. 

 

Has a campaign worked more successfully in one region than another? Do female recipients react differently to a newsletter than their male counterparts? On which days and at what time are the best results attained? What is the open to click ratio? How much turnover per email recipient was achieved? Detailed, individual reports based on raw data       
Email marketing analyses based on raw data are unsurpassable for their depth of analysis and detail. The innovative reporting module from optivo is an integrated solution that processes each report query using the raw data from all previous activity. Large amounts of complex data are combined for this purpose. Email marketing specialists are thereby in the enviable position to analyse their measures at any time in a level of quality not previously available and to quickly and effectively identify sales developments and trends.

 

Integrated data analysis with Microsoft® Excel    
The new success monitoring capabilities from optivo are also characterised by a high level of user friendliness. Each report can be created simply and easily in optivo® broadmail via drag & drop. Simultaneously, an Excel template is incorporated in the software. This can be downloaded at any time and further edited in Excel as a pivot table and subsequently be formatted by the customer according to their specific wishes (diagram type, colours, integration of the company logo, etc.). The customised template is then uploaded to optivo® broadmail one more time where the most up-to-date figures are automatically entered each time the report is subsequently executed. The advantages of such integration are patent: Thanks to effective Excel support based on CSV data, email marketing specialists do without the time-consuming need of repeated data preparation. As such, the marketer can concentrate on interpreting the aggregated, delivered reports as well as the development of further email marketing measures.   

 

Multidimensional analyses, sales and ROI reports                
The combination of the correct parameters is decisive for a precise email marketing analysis. A total of 34 different parameters can "clicked together" and prioritised via drag & drop. Entirely new possibilities are provided for obtaining clear and detailed conversion, sales and ROI reports – especially when evaluated in conjunction with post-click tracking data. In addition, all data can be assessed according to time, no matter if by year, month, day or hour. Just a few clicks is all it takes for the advanced reports to also deliver comparative or cumulative success monitoring reports across multiple clients, e.g. for the marketing measures of several subsidiaries or brands to be evaluated quickly and easily.

 

Automated email dispatch of defined analyses        
If desired, reports can be automatically created at specified intervals and sent to a group of recipients via email. This enables easy and effective internal controlling processes to be supported at the decision-making level. All reports that are retrievable with optivo® broadmail can be sent via email.
